Stars’ Pan on Ice is by Royal approval

The boy who never grew up will be brought back to life in the region from this Friday, by some of the world’s greatest skaters.

The world-renowned Russian Ice Stars skate into Southport with a spectacular new adaptation of J.M. Barrie’s famous fantasy adventure Peter Pan.

Peter Pan on Ice is at Southport Theatre from Friday, April 4 to Sunday, April 6.

Previous productions by the Russian Ice Stars – lavish productions of Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty, and the unique combination of circus skills and ice dance, Cirque de Glace – have earned critical acclaim. They have already performed Peter Pan on Ice in Monaco at the request of Prince Rainier.

Featuring professional ice skaters of an incredibly high standard, including a number of former Olympic competitors, the company formed in 1993, and since then has entertained audiences all over the world.

The magical tale of Peter, Wendy, Michael, John and others is told against a backdrop of stunning scenery, incredible special effects, and dazzling skating skill.

Performances: Friday, April 4, 7.30pm; Saturday, 2.30pm and 7.30pm; Sunday 2.30pm.
