Saturday night fright-fest
Award-winning storyteller and historian of all things supernatural and sinister Simon Entwistle is to lead one of his celebrated ghost walks around Preston on Saturday night (October 25).
In authentic Victorian costume complete with funereal top hat Simon will take grim delight in sharing tales of the old city, from Phantom Coaches and Town Hall ghosts to the terrifying tale of the ‘Bannister Doll’ and a little known local connection to the Ripper murders of Whitechapel.
Simon has guided countless ghostly thrillseekers around the North, notably Clitheroe, Skipton, York and Kendal, and is looking forward to chilling blood in Preston.
“We start from the Flag Market,” he said, “And I will conduct two tours. My favourite story is the Devil’s House and the Mormon Connection. Hope to see you there...”
