Poulton Drama toil over Macbeth '˜with a twist'
Their version will be staged with a Gothic Victorian ‘steampunk’ style, the choice of director David Twizell.
He said: “Macbeth has long been one of my very favourite plays and I am so delighted to be involved with this production. I wanted it to be a little different from the norm and the steam punk influence really adds an interesting dimension.

Leading the 16 strong cast in the iconic main role, is Anthony Henry, who is a lifelong Shakespeare fan and was fortunate enough to perform with the Royal Shakespeare Company as Bottom, in last year’s touring production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, both at Blackpool and in Shakespeare’s home town of Stratford.
He added: “Performing with the RSC was a dream come true, an experience I will never forget. Now my dream continues in playing one of the most famous acting roles of all time.”
