He will be looking to add to an impressive resume including two WWE United States Championship reigns.

But first he comes to Preston where he will face the PCW Heavyweight Champion Joey Hayes on Friday and one of the promotion’s top performers – Kris Travis – on Saturday night.

PCW’s two-day feast of wrestling boasts a stunning array of talent, including The Hurricane, whose high flying antics lit up both WWE and WCW, and former WWE Superstar and multiple Hardcore champion Al Snow, who will face Dave Rayne and Bubblegum respectively on Friday.

One of the world’s top aerial performers, Juventud Guerrera, a much-travelled Mexican who captured several titles in WCW and WWE, is also joined by a darling of the independent scene, Low Ki, whose ferocious style has led to glory in ROH, TNA and across Japan. Low Ki’s clash with the Mexican Sensation El Ligero on Friday night should be something special indeed.

ROH Tag Team Champions reDRagon (Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly) will take on the PCW Tag Team Champions Team Single (T-Bone and Rampage Brown) in a hotly anticipated clash, while PCW favourite and former WWE star Chris Masters will collide with the monstrous Cyanide.

Elsewhere the American independent star Uhaa Nation makes his PCW return, bringing his unique blend of high flying and power wrestling in a clash with the juggernaut Dave Mastiff.

Saturday night’s show will see Joey Hayes square off against Danny Hope, the man from whom he cruelly snatched his title, while Noam Dar clashes with Dean Allmark, and El Ligero and Martin Kirkby face reDRagon.

The action at Evoque nightclub in Church Street, Preston, kicks off tonight at 6pm. It will be followed by an over 18s only ‘Never Mind The Bushwhackers’ comedy game show at 11pm and late night party.
