The Irishman has been added to The Dukes’ calendar just as the theatre’s current comedy season draws to a close.

The funnyman rose to fame in his native Ireland, crossing the water in the early noughties to become a major star of stage and TV on the mainland.

The TV personality will return to his stand-up roots on October 29 with a brand new show where he attempts to write a modern rulebook for love, life and happiness.

Also appearing at The Dukes in October is Sarah Millican, whose show sold out within minutes of tickets going on sale.

Also sold out is the May 17 show starring the German Comedy Ambassador, Henning Wehn.

But there’s still a chance to see award-winning and controversial comedian Andrew Lawrence on April 30.
