Panto fun for ex-Eastender and BGT dancer

EastEnders’ actress Melissa Suffield returns to Blackpool North Pier Theatre tomorrow to star in the title role of the pier’s family-friendly traditional pantomime Cinderella.

Britain’s Got Talent star Steven Hall and funny man Jolly Goode co-star along with a full supporting cast and dancers.

It’s a show designed to be fun for all the family and is presented by Trio Entertainment who broke all box office records with the Wizard of Oz last summer which also starred Melissa.

She says: “I’m so excited to be returning to Blackpool in the summer. I had the most fun when I was last here and look forward to exploring even more of what Blackpool has to offer.”

Melissa (right) played the role of Lucy Beale in EastEnders for six years from the age of 11 and has appeared in a number of television series including Bravo Two Zero, Poirot, Magic Grandad and Spy TV.

No stranger to performing on stage, she has appeared in numerous theatre productions including Olly’s Prison, pantomimes Wizard of Oz, Snow White and Rapunzel and as Belle in the touring production of Beauty and the Beast.

Steven Hall is best known for his unique dance performance on the ITV hit show Britain’s Got Talent.

Since making it through to the finals in 2011, he has appeared on the programme’s arena tour as well as attheatres, nightclubs and schools across the country.

North Pier favourite funny man Jolly Goode adds the comedy capers to Cinderella, which will be performed every Wednesday afternoon and evening from tomorrow to August 27.
