One Act, one great opportunity

Due to unforeseen circumstances one society has had to drop out, so this is a one-off opportunity for your society to take part, an excellent way of raising a group’s profile.

The festival runs from June 18-21 and is open to all directors and performers especially those just stepping out into drama.

The festival will go ahead at the Preston Playhouse where there is a range of top quality facilities.

Now into its 21st year, the festival remains a warm and friendly occasion which draws in people from far and wide.

The festival is fortunate to have as its adjudicator Sue McKay whose appraisals are eagerly awaited and respected by all the groups.

There are generous financial incentives to help the societies and rehearsal time is available on stage.

A stage manager and technicians are on hand to help directors and performers alike.

The play must not be longer than 45 minutes but shorter presentations are welcome.
