The musical is adapted from the novel of the same name by playwright Russell Laybey, in collaboration with composer Richard Taylor. The story is set in Lancashire and follows the story of three young children at a time when there is an escaped convict on the loose. The children are less scared, and instead fixated on a man they find asleep in their barn, who they believe to be Jesus. Can it be true?

The production will be directed by Kirk Jameson, who has also recently directed ‘On a Clear Day You Can See Forever’ at the Union Theatre.

The production runs at the St Peter’s Art Centre, Fylde Road, Preston. Tickets are available to buy on the door, at £12 for adults and £5 concessions. Contact 01772 893372 or [email protected].
