From tonight until Saturday, third year Music Theatre students of the University of Central Lancashire will be showcasing their talents in a production of Whistle Down the Wind.

The musical is adapted from the novel of the same name by playwright Russell Laybey, in collaboration with composer Richard Taylor. The story is set in Lancashire and follows the story of three young children at a time when there is an escaped convict on the loose. The children are less scared, and instead fixated on a man they find asleep in their barn, who they believe to be Jesus. Can it be true?
