Lowry is shaken, but not stirred

The Lowry’s autumn season in Salford has been unveiled, including the highly-anticipated North West premiere of the acclaimed West End hit War Horse.

The new season also sees appearances from Bond legend Sir Roger Moore, and the world famous ballet dancer Carloa Acosta, as well as an adaptation of Alan Bennett’s comedy People.

On stage, musical Fiddler on the Roof runs from October 29 to November 2, while a legendary outlaw arrives for Christmas in Wanted! Robin Hood (November 29 – January 11).

Meanwhile, A Clockwork Orange (October 21-26), by Manchester’s Anthony Burgess, is brought to life by Action to the Word’s physical theatre horror show.

Legendary 007 Sir Roger Moore (November 3), best-selling author Howard Marks (October 29) and internationally renowned ballet dancer Acosta (October 19) will each give an intimate glimpse into their lives and careers in special one-off talks.
