Little Billy hits the big screen

A performance of the smash hit taking place in London’s West End will be beamed live to Chorley’s Little Theatre on Sunday September 28.

The performance presented by Chorley Empire Community Cinema will see the musical which has won over 80 theatre awards since its release in 2000 appear in cinema for one day only.

The globally acclaimed production is set in a miners town at the time of the 1984/5 strike and sees Billy swap the harshness of a boxing ring for a place in a ballet class although not all his family are behind Billy’s decision.

The original team behind the show including writer Lee Hall and director Stephen Daldry have come together with music legend Elton John to produce a spectacular theatrical experience.

Tickets are priced £12 for adults, £10 for concessions (OAPs and Students) and just £8 for Cinema Season Ticket Holders and CADOS members/Season Ticket Holders.
