Lancaster’s Grand Theatre hosts a camp classic
The story of a ‘pleasantly plump’ teenager who pursues stardom as a dancer while battling racial segregation comes to the stage of Lancaster’s Grand Theatre next week.
LADOS (Lancaster Amateur Dramatic and Operatic Society) present Hairspray from May 5 to May 9 at the venue.
The all-singing, all-dancing show which breaks down boundaries created by racism and body image, will have everybody on their feet.
Expect all the classic songs including ‘You Can’t Stop the Beat’, ‘It Takes Two’, ‘Big, Blonde and Beautiful’ and ‘The Nicest Kids In Town’.
Tickets from £10, offers available. Call the box office on 01524 64695, or for more details see www.lancastergrand.co.uk
