The story of Nicki, Mel, Adele, Carol – four waitresses stuck in their job and hoping for better things – runs until Saturday night at Chorley Little Theatre.

The hilarious play from the writer of Teechers and Bouncers is full of quirky characters and witty one-liners based around Shakers club, the trendiest place in town playing the latest hits by Duran Duran, Wham and New Order.

A spokesman for the venue added: “Join us in the bar afterwards – it’s had a lick of paint over summer, we’ve got more seating and tables, plus the walls are proudly displaying work from Chorley Photographic Society and Chorley Lodge Artists.
