Fiction at The Continental sounds like a dream
You are invited to a lecture. You know the subject is probably important and it would be useful to hear what the speaker has to say but you can’t keep your eyes open. You will fall asleep and you will dream...
Welcome to Fiction, a new production by Fuel Theatre which is currently touring Britain and will arrive at Preston’s New Continental pub early next month.
Fiction is a sound journey through complete darkness that will plays on your senses to create a unique theatrical experience that undermines common theatre convention.
Fiction is the second show by Glen Neath and David Rosenberg using binaural sound, recorded using technology which creates a 3D listening sensation.
It is an anxious journey through the sprawling architecture of our dreams and an exercise in empathy.
Or it is an opportunity for a 60 minute nap. Not suitable for insomniacs!
Tickets £7, £5 concs, are available from the venue (01772 499 425), Preston Visitor Information (01772 253 731) or online from Skiddle & SEE Tickets.
