This time there’s two great headline acts – Iain Stirling and Alfie Brown, plus support act Tommy Rowson and MC Mark Smith.

Seen on Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC3), Iain Stirling is a stand-up comedian and also the current face of CBBC and can be seen presenting on the channel every weekday afternoon.

Iain was dubbed one of Scotland’s hottest newcomers after his performance at the Glasgow Old Fruit Market to more than 750 people.

He has supported Russell Kane and Rhod Gilbert on tour and last year appeared in The Comedy Zone, the most prestigious new act showcase at the Edinburgh Festival.

Joining Iain is Alfie Brown. Described by the Huffington Post as the most exciting comedian on the circuit today, he is a screaming, pretentious 27 year old divorcee who has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder but doesn’t know if it exists. He’s funny, loud and kind in the most horrific way possible.

Welsh comic Tommy Rowson began performing in 2010 and has since won So You Think You’re Funny - the Gilded Balloon’s stand-up competition for new comedians.

Rowson, who currently lives in London, has also reached the semis of the Amused Moose Awards and the finals of the Laughing Horse competition.

Mark Smith, MC on the evening, is a previous finalist in So you Think You’re Funny and is a quick witted and sharp comedian.
