But this year, they have decided to bring their summer production of the
enduring family favourite to Preston.

The group celebrates its 30th anniversary next year and several of the original members are still around and involved in the shows – including their founder and artistic director, Sue Gallagher MBE.

This show boasts a 50 strong cast, including 18 youngsters, with iconic characters like the Artful Dodger, Nancy, Bill Sykes, Fagin and, of course, Oliver himself all played by some of the region’s finest performers. And it also features all the longtime favourite songs, including Food, Glorious Food, You’ve Got To Pick A Pocket Or Two and Whenever He Needs Me.

And the music will be even more of a treat as the production will be accompanied by a West End Orchestra led by Nogal’s musical director Davie Christie, who recently toured with Idina Menzel on her last British shows.

Tickets are £15 with £3 off for concessions. Or family tickets for four people are also available for £46, from the box office on 0845 344 2012.
