Buy tickets – if you like a laugh

“An evening in the company of an idiot. Or is he? Yes he is. Only come if you like jokes though. If not you’ll be cross.”

Milton Jones brings his Temple of Daft to Lancashire three times next year.

Famous for his loud shirts and messed up hair, a regualr on Mock the Week, with appearances on Live at the Apollo and Michael McIntyre’s Roadshow under his belt, Jones has also written and performed multiple series on Radio 4.

Similar to Tim Vine, Jones trades on a stream of one-line gags, usually puns, always delivered in deadpan, slightly neurotic style. He plays on February 15 in Lytham at the Lowther Terrace, May 21 at Blackburn King George’s and June 7 at Blackpool’s Grand Theatre. Tickets for all shows go on sale today – Friday June 13.

This may be an unlucky day for some but as Jones himself says: “Being superstitious never stopped me getting lots of splinters. Hopefully I won’t get anymore. Touch wood.”
