It promises a radical interpretation of the composer’s ballet and orchestral concert work in the theatrical setting of love and hatred between Shakespeare’s rival households.

Conceived by Concert Theatre, the production creates a music-oriented physical theatre piece through the re-telling of Shakespeare’s romantic tragedy with collaborations among concert pianists from the Royal Academy of Music, actors and director from the Lecoq-based system and mask specialists from Trestle Theatre.

The show has its London premiere this week before coming to Lancaster at the start of a national tour on Wednesday 30th April.
