A play about a rich smart, rich and ruthless man is heading to Preston.

After its world premiere in Salford, The Mallory Monologues, a new play from Bill McCoid, will be staged at The Continental on Tuesday, March 25

In the play six people tell of his extraordinary life: a Funeral Guest, a Gangster, his Girlfriend, a Hit Man, his Teacher, and his Mum.

The show is full of talent.

Lloyd Peters’s credits include Boys From The Black Stuff, Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Heartbeat, Last of the Summer Wine, GBH, The Bill, The History Man, The Lair of the White Worm (with Hugh Grant).

Claire Mooney has been in demand as a singer songwriter for 25 years, releasing eight albums.

Sarah Ann Kennedy is an actress best known for providing the voices of Miss Rabbit in the children’s animated series Peppa Pig, Nanny Plum in the children’s animated chips series Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom and Dolly Pond in Pond Life.

She is also a writer and animation director and the creator of Crapston Villas, an animated soap opera she did for Channel 4 in 1996–1998.

She has also written for Hit Entertainment and the children’s television series, Peppa Pig.

As a then screenwriting course leader at the University of Central Lancashire, Sarah taught Mark Gill, a writer/director currently nominated for an Oscar.

Sarah is now course leader for animation at the University of Central Lancashire.

Writer and Actor Joe O’Byrne has been associated with Pheonix Nights, Coronation Street, the film Lookin’ For Lucky, Emmerdale, Clocking Off, The Royal, Heartbeat, the film Car Park , I’m Frank Morgan, and The Bench.

Bill McCoid is course leader for screenwriting at University of Central Lancashire.
