A Comedy of Errors first before Pinter’s Old Times ring last orders for season

The final pair of plays in Theatre by the Lake’s summer season in Keswick sees a Shakespearean comedy with an exotic setting in the Main House and a mysterious psychological drama in the Studio.

In The Comedy of Errors a twisting plot centres on two sets of identical twins, separated at birth in a shipwreck, who find themselves in the same town.

Opening in the Studio next Friday is Harold Pinter’s dark and atmospheric chological drama Old Times.

These two plays join the four already playing in the Main House and Studio; from August 4 they will rotate performance days, with all six playing every week until November 9.
