It’s their fourth co-production following the success of world premiere productions Mixed Up North (2009) and Bang Bang Bang (2011), as well as last year’s highly acclaimed co-production of Timberlake Wertenbaker’s Our Country’s Good.

In This May Hurt a Bit, Nicholas James is in and out of hospital thanks to his ageing mother and unruly prostate. Or is it the other way round? Lost medical notes, mysterious stains, and bodily malfunctions coincide with the arrival of family from overseas.

In a biting political comedy, Feehily puts Britain’s NHS under the stethoscope in a play that stars Stephanie Cole as Iris – a witty, feisty and independent elderly woman.

Other casting includes brother and sister Jane and Tristram Wymark, both best known for their roles on the ITV drama Midsomer Murders. Joining them will be Brian Protheroe, Frances Ashman, Natalie Klamar, William Hope and Hywel Morgan.

It runs from Tuesday to April 5. Call: 01204 520661.
