Led by lead singer Kyle Falconer, The View have paid several visits to the Brook Street venue before and have always gone down well.

But their first visit to Preston came in 2007 when they took to the stage of the Radio One Big Weekend in Moor Park, just down the bill from the Kaiser Chiefs.

They were then riding on the crest of a wave following the release of their Mercury nominated debut album, Hats Off to the Buskers.

With four albums now under their belts, they this year released their greatest hits record, Seven Year Setlist and this tour is a look back at their whirlwind eight years since they formed in 2005.

Support is from The Rainband. Tickets are £13.50 plus booking fee from the box office on 01772 893000 or online at www.53degrees.net
