They will show off 2012 album, Hot Cakes, alongside their hit singles, I Believe In a Thing Called Love and Get Your Hands Off My Woman.

And, as it’s Advent Sunday, they have to play festive classic, Christmas Time (Don’t Let The Bells End).

Formed in 2000, The Darkness were a sensation when they emerged in 2003 with quadruple platinum debut album, Permission to Land.

Bassist Frankie Poullain left in 2005, and they split when singer Justin Hawkins departed after rehab in 2006. But in 2011, the original line-up announced their reunion.

Tickets for their 53 Degrees show are £25 plus booking fee from the box office on 01772 893000 or online at www.lancashiretickets.com
