Nihilism Incarnate are a five-piece progressive death metal band from Preston, England formed in 2010 by vocalist Craig Forshaw, guitarist Graham Pek Clayton and drummer Paul Aldred, second guitarist Dan Walden joined soon after.

The band practiced as a bass-less, four-piece writing material and ultimately released their four-track demo Ad Initium in May 2011.

Recent changes to the line-up now see Kyle Worrall taking up bass duties and Russell Sumner on sticks.

The past year has seen the lads supporting Hour Of Penance and death metal legends Exhumed.

Their current release, the self-funded EP Deconstruct The Aeons was mastered by ex-Testament/Death guitarist James Murphy and the track Dark Matter was featured on Terrorizer magazine’s halloween 2013 cover CD.

Singer Craig Forshaw, right, said: “Obviously to play a show supporting a genuine bona fide legend is a huge honour for us. It’s incredible when you see how well some Preston-based bands are doing. All Consumed are on thier way to Bloodstock (a 15,000-capacity metal festival in Derbyshire), with the rumour being there’ll be one more added. Preston has cause to be immensely proud of its bands.

“This is truly special for us though. Don’t be surprised if one or more of us is a tad misty eyed on the night!”

Soulfly, hailing from Phoenix, Arizona, were formed in 1997 and are led by former Sepultura frontman Max Cavalera, who formed the band after leaving the Brazilian group in 1996.

The band has so far released eight studio albums, and, in 2014, head out in support of a brand new record.

Max also revisits seminal material from Metallica, Slayer, and the like, his band’s music adds up to the singular, distinct, straightforward and riff-heavy machine.
