Fresh from a packed-out performance at Glastonbury, the foursome – singer Ross Farrelly, guitarist Josh McClorey, bassist Pete OHanlon and drummer Evan Walsh – make their debut in our city to an eager crowd in 53’s intimate upstairs club room.

Q magazine said: “The Strypes look and sound like they’ve just walked on stage at The Cavern in 1963.”

In the last 18 months, they’ve haunted the clubs and festivals of Ireland, the UK and Europe, carving out a no-nonsense blues repertoire drawing from Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, Howlin Wolf, Little Walter, Slim Harpo, and British blues groups like Dr Feelgood, Rolling Stones and Animals. But, if you don’t have a ticket, you’ve missed out.
