Featuring Merseybeat legends Gerry & The Pacemakers (although Gerry himself is not well enough to take part), the first act to top the charts with their first three singles, the hits will flow all night.

Alongside the Pacemakers will be fellow Scouse pop smashes The Searchers, above, and the controversial P.J. Proby, whose trouser splitting antics once stunned a nation.

The show also includes The Fortunes, who stormed the Top 10 with You’ve Got Your Troubles, Here It Comes Again, Freedom Come Freedom Go and Storm in a Teacup as well as Brian Poole and Chip Hawkes who between them will re-create the many fantastic hits of The Tremeloes.

Tickets cost £32.45 (£29.50 plus £2.95 fee), call box office: on 01253 625252 or www.wintergardensblackpool.co.uk
