With a range of shows from local artists to acts fresh from performing in the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, there will be something for everyone.

This year, the festival will be highlighting its link with Edinburgh with musician Sean Keefe cycling from Edinburgh to Tewitfield, before heading into Preston down the Lancaster Canal... on pedalo!

The journey, for which is Sean is being sponsored by UCLan, is believed to be the first attempt to traverse the canal by pedalo. It is part of Sean’s 40 By 40 project – a list of 40 tasks to complete before reaching the age of 40, whilst raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support. He will be joined by a number of different musicians and comedians during this 42 mile journey, and will be entertaining the crowds at various stop-off points on his way into the city.

Details of Sean’s pedalo journey, from September 6-8, can be found on his website www,seankeefe.co.uk, along with details of his stop-off points and performances.
