Cuerden Valley Park, which is close to Preston, Leyland and Chorley, hosts a range of 20 different draught ciders, from local Ribble Valley offerings to those as far afield as Devon and Cornwall.

The festival will take place from 1pm until midnight on Friday August 9 and Saturday August 10.

Friday’s live music will see Lancashire’s own Flossie Codling and Jon Brindley playing sets, whilst Saturday sees The Dot Dot Dots and Tres.

Entrance is £4 and includes a free souvenir glass.

People are advised to go early to avoid the disappointment at the recent Beer Festival, where people were turned away once the Orchard had reached its capacity.
