Original art or a shrewd investment?

Longridge Gallery will host its annual exhibition of Original Art from November 28-30.

The event is always much anticipated representing as it does a first public viewing for most of the wart on display.

Given none of the images have been or will be, printed the exhibition is a great opportunity to purchase unique work by some of the country’s most talented artists.

And considering the phenomenal investment performance of original art over the last 10 years, visitors will not only have the opportunity to enhance their home but also make a financially sound purchase!

A variety of styles, media and prices will be featured throughout.

New names to Longridge Gallery such as ‘Fleetwood’ with his incredible motor vehicles and Birim Aksuyek’s emotive watercolours will sit alongside nationally acclaimed favourites such as Wendy Corbett, Vic Gartside and Kerry Darlington.

Owner Dianne Sheret said “Our customers always look forward to our exhibition and we are delighted that so many support us.

“As ever, we have carefully chosen the artwork in the hope that we surprise and delight every visitor.

“We expect strong demand for many of the paintings and given their one-off nature many of our customers will make enviable purchases.”
