The Continental pub is hosting Blow Up with live guests Baltic Fleet and Alfa 9.
The club helped kick-start Brit Pop in 1993 in Camden Town but also cites arty pop, Glam, Mod and New Wave colliding with 60s Soul, Beat, Garage, Funk, Ska, Swinging Soundtracks and Hammond Heavy Jazz.
Meanwhile, Baltic Fleet are described as “psychedelic post-punk krautrock” and is the moniker of multi-instrumentalist and DIY producer Paul Fleming (ex-Bunnymen).
Alfa 9’s recent single El Morocco was playlisted for 4 weeks on BBC 6 Music this November, with BBC Radio sessions now under their belt for 6 Music, BBC Stoke and BBC Liverpool.
