New Orleans comes to Keswick

This year’s event maintains its focus on hugely popular traditional and mainstream jazz, all played with Mardi Gras party spirit.

The key theme is ‘New Orleans comes to Cumbria’, probably the most well-known and popular form of jazz.

This year the festival promises to be as big as ever, with 90 events taking place in 15 venues over four days. The free parade also returns, with a troupe of musicians, dancers and enthusiastic supporters processing from Market Square down to the lakeside at 10am on Saturday.
