Nature reserve concert

Preston’s much-loved One Voice Community Choir is set to perform at a nature reserve this weekend.

The choir, which is based in the city but has members from all over the North West will showcase its talents in the picturesque surroundings of Brockholes Nature Reserve on Saturday night.

The concert will be held at the venue in Preston New Road, Preston at 7.30pm

Doors open at 7pm and there will be a bar throughout the evening.

Tickets are priced at £6 and include refreshments.

The event is in aid of the Rosemere Cancer Foundation.

The singers will be looking out over the lake as they perform classics such as ‘Down by the Riverside’, ‘Oh Happy Day’ and many more inspirational gems.

All money raised from the performance will go directly to the charity.

Rosemere provides care possible for cancer patients in Lancashire and South Cumbria, wherever they are treated.

The Foundation 
raises much needed funds for 
local cancer research, patient welfare projects, additional equipment and training that cannot be provided by the NHS.
