Iconic 1980s rock band Simple Minds are to play a string of North West dates as part of a 29-date UK tour next year.
The multi-million selling band will play the Liverpool Empire Theatre on Thursday April 2, Blackpool Opera House on Friday April 3 and the Manchester O2 Apollo on Friday April 10.
Over a 30-year career Simple Minds have been responsible for some of the most innovative and enduring anthems in rock music, and last year the band played to 130,000 people in the UK alone – the most they have ever played to in one year.
