A joint promotion by More Music and Lancaster Jazz Festival, the band will be supported by experimental multi-instrumentalist and 808 State collaborator Paddy Steer.

Hailed by BBC 6 Music’s Gilles Peterson as “the new sound of UK jazz”, Roller Trio’s riveting debut album was a Mercury album of the year in 2012.

Lancaster Jazz Festival director Matt Robinson was delighted to have secured the gig: “They bring a ridiculously fresh DIY sound to the UK scene – one of the most exciting and innovative bands on the circuit at the moment”.

Support for the show will come from Paddy Steer, a unique musical mind whose vast and varied experiences includes running the massive Manchester ensemble, Homelife, and recently performing at the 6 Music Festival in Manchester with Graham Massey from 808 State.
