Mark 2013 with a 13 mile walk
Walkers can celebrate 2013 with a specially organised 13 mile walk around the city tomorrow.
Starting from the city’s Avenham Park, the trek, which is led by the area’s park rangers, will take those joining in for a circular walk through some of the greatest parts of our city.
The stroll, which starts at 9.30am and carries on until 4pm, will take in sections of the Guild Wheel, which was opened to celebrate last year’s Guild, along with lots of other parks, nature reserves, footpaths and waterways.
Walkers should meet promptly at the start time outside the Avenham Park pavilion.
