Long live the (Spice) King and here’s why
Saturday night is always a great night for a takeaway and what better place to try than a finalist in the English Curry Awards – Spice King.
Between two of us we ordered a starter of popadoms, one large onion bhaji, one duck spring roll and two tandoori chicken balls each.

Between two we shared a butter chicken curry and a chicken tikki honey both with pilau rice.
Both very creamy and to be honest we could have shared one between us because the portions were generous.
Nevertheless we did our best to finish them.
The chicken was very well cooked and had a great texture.
The sauce was very sweet which, although not for everyone was just what we were after.

Overall the whole meal cost us £18.15.
Ratings out of five? The food was a five and value for money was a four.
