Fancy footwork from tiny tots to lovely ladies will be on show at a Preston dance school’s annual showcase.

Let’s Dance, from the Sandham Fitchett School Of Dance, will be performed at Preston’s Charter Theatre today (Thursday, May 22), tomorrow (Friday) Saturday, with shows at 6pm on all three days and a matinee performance at 1.30pm on Saturday.

The Dance School was established in 1946, with Heather Fitchett becoming a partner, after completing her training at the Royal Ballet School, alongside her teacher, Margaret Sandham, in 1958.

Miss Sandham and Miss Fitchett worked closely together until the death of Margaret Sandham in 1988, and former pupils of the school, that has studios in Preston, Fulwood, Cottam, Longton, Kirkham, Woodplumpton and Wesham , have gone on to perform with ballet companies, in West End productions and pantomimes, on cruise liners and on television.

Both children as young as two and more mature dancers will perform a variety of numbers in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz and Street Dance.
