It is now more than decade since legendary Geordie folk-rock band Lindisfarne called it a day after 33 years of chart-topping albums and a string of songs which have lodged themselves in the public’s consciousness.

From Fog On The Tyne to Meet Me On The Corner, their songs were deeply rooted in the north-east but, at the same time, had universal appeal.

Ray said: “The Lindisfarne Story is the result of 50 years of friendship and musical collaboration.

“It tells the tale of a bunch of Geordie lads with a dream. There’s a lot of laughs, a few tears and a barrowload of fantastic music.
