Joe down but not out and new date announced

Sickness might have forced legendary British rock and roller Joe Brown to cancel his gig at the Grand Theatre, Blackpool, but new dates have already been confirmed.

The indefatigable Joe will instead play the venue on Monday, September 15.

Tickets sold in advance for the original show will, of course be honoured, and there are some still available to buy.

Performing and delighting audiences since the 1950s, fusing rockabilly, country, folk, as well as gospel into a unique and unforgettable show, Joe will be joined by his five-piece band, which includes his son, record producer Pete Brown.

Joe has enjoyed a lengthy career, with his Best Of album the most recent hit, landing a gold disc after 120,000 sales and eight weeks on the UK charts.

He has continued to break box office records and recently received MOJO magazine’s coveted Outstanding Contribution To Music Award as well as a much-deserved MBE.

Joe Brown is at the Grand Theatre, Blackpoo, on Monday September 15. Tickets £22 to £26. For more call 01253 290 190 or go to www.blackpoolgrand.co.uk.
