Adam Shaw, the Preston-born lad of the trio, said: “It has been two years since our last album release [What Went Wrong?] and we thought it was about time for another.

“What Went Wrong? was a collection of disparate songs inspired by books, films and life. It was by pure chance that they all fit together on the CD.

“On the new CD each track represents one of the Ancient Wonders, therefore a lot of research went into writing them.

“All our releases to date have had seven tracks and we wanted to follow that theme but with a bit of a twist.

“The songs like; The Rise and Fall of Helios; The Cynic and the king; Alexandria; and The Hanging Gardens are all based on the myths and legends surrounding each wonder.”

Ivan Campo’s EP Super 7
featured the song ‘The Great Procastinator’ which was used in Series 4 of E4’s ‘Skins’.

“That was a great moment to be noticed and we’re very glad that our music was used in such a popular TV Series.”

Ivan Campo have shared stages with Nick Harper, Jeffrey Lewis, Marble Valley, Roddy Woomble and Shack.
