Following the success of last year’s inaugural event organisers Colin Black and Daniel Alderson have again pulled together a cracking day of established and breakthrough artists.

The festival is headlined by Roscoe Levee and the Southern Slide.

Guitar and Hammond led, with hints of the best of 70’s British and US rocking blues, Rosco Levee & The Southern Slide boil over with flavours of London and the Mississippi.

Also on the bill are Wille and the Bandits, a classic three piece in the vain of Cream or The Jimi Hendrix Experience.

But in a similar way to how these bands pushed the genre in their time, Wille and the Bandits try to take their sound beyond what is expected of such a traditional line up.

Also on the live bill, from 3pm until late, are Kent DuChaine, Brothers Groove, and The Blues Duo.

Veteran blues DJ Chris Powers willspin classic tracks before, during and after the bands.

An intimate gig for 200 appreciative blues fanatics, the organisers are hoping over time to expand and earn a place on the National Blues Circuit.
