Historical adventures at tower
Capture your child’s or grandchild’s imagination with a specially adapted family tours of Hoghton Tower.
Bow to the king as you join the jester and the maid to spot the hairy mouse, spy on the dolls in their miniature houses, avoid the evil eye of the Lancashire Witches, dodge the dungeons and make a wish down the ancient well.
The tours are recommended for children ages five to 11. The adventure lasts approximately two and a half hours.
Costumes (for children only!) are available to borrow 10 minutes before the start of the tour, or you’re welcome to bring your own.
