He will showcase songs from his new album, after which the tour is named, which is due for release in January 2014.

Glenn, who is a well respected singer and accomplished guitarist, has had a career spanning 30 years, with top ten hits around the world, including Cool for Cats, Tempted and Up the Junction.

He has also had two solo albums, The Incomplete Glenn Tilbrook and Transatlantic Ping-Pong, proving he has lost none of the joie-de-vivre that became Squeeze’s trademark.

The last few years have been extremely busy for Glenn.

Three years ago he returned to his roots with Squeeze and release the album ‘Spot The Difference’, a collection of 14 of the band’s best-loved hits, re-recorded by the band to be as close to the original versions as possible (whilst challenging their fans to spot the difference!).

As well as the album release the band took to the road with their biggest UK tour in over 10 years, a tour that capped an exhilarating 2010 for Glenn and his Squeeze band mate Chris Difford.

The Happy Ending tour will be at 53 Degrees, Preston on Sunday, December 8.

Tickets are £15 and are available from the box office on 0871 220 0260.
