Geek is the word this week
Winners will be on a mission to celebrate and losers to drown their sorrows at an over-the-top A-Level ‘Geek Party’ in Preston later this week.
Popworld in Church Street will be the scene of the bash.
If you’re packing up and getting ready to move off to university, preparing for working life, or even just gearing up to retake your exams,this will be the only place to be on Thursday from 9pm until late.
A spokesman for the fun pub said: “Geek has officially become chic, for this, the biggest results night of the year.
“Free geek glasses will be given out to partygoers, throughout the night.”
From Thursday onwards thousands of students will be out to celebrate their A-Level results.
