The Ferret in Preston’s Fylde Road hosts the first of three semi-finals in the epic Last Man Standing battle of the bands competition on Friday 23 January.
Fuelled by biscuits and a fear of treble, Okk & The Elephant are a Bolton-based bass driven band whose lack of ambition is overcome by a love of live performance and good times in strange places.
Preston’s George Harris and the Memorymakers take inspiration from artists such as John Martyn, Foy Vance, Dylan and Eddie Vedder.
Mary Joanna are a Manchester trio fronted by Mary Joanna Coogan and formed from the skeleton of Mary Joanna & The Southern Electrikk .
