Preston film production company Gestaltfilms will be starting a crowdfunding campaign tomorrow, Friday 27th March, for its latest venture, The Blackout.

From 6pm to 10pm at Roper Hall’s ‘The Attic’ in Friargate, Preston, there will be a showing of Oscar and BAFTA-winning production, Birdman, as well as live music and a candy buffet.

It will also give local residents the opportunity to meet The Blackout team, and view an exclusive premiere of ‘The Blackout’ film trailer, telling the story of how society reacts when deprived of all electricity.

Alan Livesey, coordinating director of the Blackout Film Project, said: “We are very excited about this event.

“This is a great opportunity for people to find out what the project is and what it will mean for Preston.”
