Fiz after foodie tips at Southport Flower Show

The popular actress will attend the Saturday of the show on August 17.

Jennie was just 17 when she joined the cast of Coronation Street but she had already been performing as a stand-up comic for four years.

Jennie is now a Weatherfield favourite for her portrayal of fiery Fiz Stape and she has shown her quick wit on a string of TV panel shows and quizzes including 8 out of 10 cats and Loose Women.

She is not afraid of getting stuck into some gardening and planted trees at a special garden at Moodswings, a charity set up by her dad.

She recently opened her own restaurant Annies in Manchester which serves traditional British food.

Jennie said: “I’m really looking forward to this year’s Southport Flower Show.

“I love all the gardens and I’ll definitely be checking out the food village to pick up some ideas for Annies.”

E.tickets can be bought online up until midnight tomorrw, Wednesday, August 14, for £16.

The Gate Price is £21, £18 concessions (over 60 years or students with a NUS card).

The show runs from Thursday-Sunday August 15-18 from 10am until 6pm (5pm on Sunday).
