It’s free entry and also a good chance to see Aziz, who is one of the most acclaimed guitarists in the UK, having toured the Second Coming album once John Squire had quit the band.

Ibrahim was the guitarist for the last Stone Roses performance before they split, at the 1996 Reading Festival.

After their split, Ibrahim continued to tour and write with former Stone Roses front man Ian Brown, co-writing songs such as My Star, Corpses in Their Mouths and Longsight M13,

Mark Whiteside says the concert will be a one-off. He said: “Me and Pete met Aziz through a friend about eight months ago and I asked him if he would like to join us when we have the chance.

“We have played a few gigs with him already. The music is pure free form so never the same twice. He was managed by Andy Leff when he played with Steve Wilson, of Porcupine Tree fame, who in turn is now helping Evil Blizzard.”

Support comes from The Creature Comfort (from Manchester) and Drunk Girls (from Preston).
