Eve has designs on career after Fleet Street

Pollard launched her first collection three years ago, after becoming frustrated at the lack of flattering clothes on the high street for women of a certain age.

She said: “I created Eve Pollard Designs because there was very little out there that inspired me.

“I simply wanted dresses that were classic, but not dull – elegant, but with a modern twist.

“Clothes that had the capacity to make me feel good about the body beneath it, even if it is steadily moving south!”

Eve will be joining Sara Foster, Sara’s boutique, Etcetera, along with Boot Out Breast Cancer founder, Debbie Dowie for a special Etcetera Style Workshop, ‘Feeling Fabulous at 40 and Beyond’ at 12pm.

Tickets cost £25 which will be donated to Cancer Research UK.
