They have been recreating the songs and sounds of ELO for many years in theatres across the UK, and last year received the accolade of being named the official UK number 1 tribute show in their category.

Their two-hour spectacular incorporates a state of the art light show with video effects and a memorable finale.

Birmingham musician Roy Wood formed the original band more than 40 years ago until it was taken on by Jeff Lynne to became one of the most successful line-ups in pop music history. ELO sold more than 50 million records worldwide, and to mark the 40th anniversary, released three albums last month – Electric Light Orchestra Live and two reissues, ELO’s Zoom (re-mastered and including a brand new track) and debut solo album Armchair Theatre (also re-mastered, with two brand new tracks).

The ELO Experience perform all the hits in their show with a 2014 line-up that includes a violinist, two cellists, three guitarists, keyboard player and drummer.

Strings and vocals remain key features in the arrangements, with many songs demanding four-part harmony.
