Difference between life and existence
Lancashire artists Chris Pilcher and Joel Chan present an exhibition called ‘Life’ at Lancaster’s Ashton Memorial in Williamson Park.
This exhibition will be open on Saturday, April 26, at 8.30pm – 11pm and Sunday, April 27, from 10am-5pm with a theme of ‘Life’ based on the difference between living and existing.
The artists hope visitors to the exhibition will leave wanting to do something new or different, and be inspired to live life to the full.
Through photography and drawing, the show plays on ideas of what it means to be human, highlighting the difference between our perceptions of strangers and the lives they have.
Donations will be collected and go towards Making Memories, which funds a memory for children whose parents have terminal illness.
